Anniversary parade for Plymouth's 29 Commando Regiment

A military parade in Plymouth has been held to mark the 50th anniversary of 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery.

Serving members and dozens of veterans from the commando gunners took part, exercising their Freedom of the City.

On Saturday morning, troops marched from their base at the Royal Citadel to the Minster Church of St Andrew's where a service of thanksgiving was held.

Vehicles and equipment used by the regiment in Afghanistan were also displayed.
