Plymouth cafe rape suspect, 34, released on bail

A man arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in a Plymouth cafe has been released on bail.

The woman, in her early 20s, reported being raped in the toilets of Goodbody's Cafe, Mutley Plain, at about 08:00 GMT on Thursday.

The man, arrested at the scene, was questioned by Devon and Cornwall Police and released on bail until 4 June.

The force said the "traumatised victim" was being supported by specially trained officers.
