Two men die off the Devon coast

Two men have died in separate accidents off the coast of Devon.

A 48-year-old man, from Exeter, was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth after falling overboard from a yacht at the entrance to the River Yealm on Wednesday afternoon.

The other man, a 55-year-old, fell off rocks in the water while fishing at Meadfoot Beach at Torquay at 17:50 BST on Wednesday, said Brixham Coastguard.

Both men were airlifted to Derriford Hospital where they later died.
