Men and rescuers winched from Bovisand cliff

Three men who were stuck on a cliff in dense undergrowth and two rescuers sent to help them have been winched to safety by a rescue helicopter in Devon.

The men were rescued from the cliff at Bovisand Bay, in Plymouth overnight.

Fire crews attended the scene and a helicopter from RMB Chivenor winched the men and two members of the rescue team after they "secured the casualties".

One of the men had minor leg injuries and was treated at the scene.

The conditions of the other two men are unknown.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at about 23:00 BST.
