Pensioner charged over stabbing in Northam

A 72-year-old woman has been charged with attacking a man found with multiple stab wounds to his neck, hands and leg.

Anne Tucker, from the Bideford area, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to the 79-year-old.

The man was discovered by police who were called to a house in Northam, north Devon, on Monday.

Ms Tucker has been released on bail to appear at Barnstaple Magistrates' Court on 11 October.
