A man has been arrested following an armed robbery at a Co-op store in Devon.

A man armed with a knife robbed the store in South Street, Axminster, just after 21:00 GMT on Saturday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The raider got away with a bottle of vodka and cigarettes.

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of robbery who remains in police custody.
