Beaver is filmed on River Otter in Devon

A beaver has been filmed in the wild at a farm near the River Otter in Devon.

Cameras were set up on the property at Ottery St Mary to investigate what was causing damage to tress in the area.

Farmer David Lawrence said it was "surprising what he can nibble through", including one tree about 1ft (30cm) in diameter.

Scientist Tom Buckley he was "very surprised" when he reviewed the footage.
