Man charged over Exeter NatWest bank robbery
A man charged with robbing a bank in Devon has been remanded in custody after appearing in court.
Justin Bracken-Lee, 39, appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court charged with stealing cash from the NatWest branch in Exeter's High Street.
Mr Bracken-Lee, of Arcade Road, Ilfracombe, was remanded in custody until 17 April, when he will appear at Exeter Crown Court via a videolink.
A cashier was left shaken but not hurt in the raid, which happened on Monday.
The robber, who claimed to be armed, left the bank with a quantity of cash in a carrier bag, police said.
