Police divers have been carrying out an underwater search after a body was reported off a Devon breakwater.

Emergency services were called to Brixham on Wednesday after the alarm was raised by a group of divers who thought they saw a body on the seabed.

Police, coastguard teams, a rescue helicopter and paramedics were involved in the initial search on Wednesday, which was later called off.

Coastguards said efforts resumed on Thursday morning.
