Gloria Perring named as victim in Plymouth murder case

A 76-year-old woman who was found dead in her home has been named by police.

Gloria Perring's body was found at a house in Ashleigh Close, Tamerton Foliot, Plymouth, on Tuesday morning after reports of a disturbance.

A 79-year-old man who was found injured at the property remains in a serious condition, a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Officers said they were treating the death as murder.

It is understood the police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
