Honiton Jehovah's Witnesses hall murder accused remanded

A 54-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Keith Beviss, of Woodhayes Drive, Honiton, appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody.

Philip Ryan, 55, a married electrician, was found with stab wounds inside the hall in Honiton, Devon on Tuesday afternoon.

He is due to appear before the city's crown court on 6 July.
