Pedestrian hit by car at a Portsmouth hospital
Police are trying to trace a driver who hit a pedestrian as he tried to leave a Portsmouth hospital.
The 54-year-old man was standing at the entrance to Queen Alexandra Hospital when his foot was stuck by a black car.
It happened on Nightingale Road at about 1430 BST on Monday. The driver got out and asked the man if he was ok before driving off.
The man, who suffered a broken foot bone and cuts and grazes to his arms and legs was treated at the hospital.
Police have urged anyone who saw the accident to get in touch.
The driver is described as a white man, about 45-years-old, 5ft 8in tall, wearing a white top and dark trousers.
