Men rescued when catamaran flips off Dorset coast

Two men had to be rescued when their catamaran flipped over off the Dorset coast.

A member of the public called for help after seeing the sailing boat capsize as it tried to alter course off Avon Beach, Christchurch.

The RNLI lifeboat from Mudeford was launched and managed to pick up the men and escort them back to shore along with their catamaran.

Neither was injured in the incident on Saturday afternoon.
