Woman's body discovered at house in Poole

The body of a woman has been discovered by an ambulance crew at a house in Poole.

Police said the 46-year-old was found at the bungalow in Curtis Road on Thursday at about 1025 GMT.

A 28-year-old man from Poole is helping police with their inquiries and the area has been sealed off while a forensic examination is carried out.

A post-mortem examination on the woman's body, carried out on Thursday evening, was inconclusive, police said.

The investigation is being led by Bournemouth's Major Crime Investigation Team.

The coroner and the woman's next of kin have been informed.
