Two Dorset heath fires may be deliberate

Two heath fires in Dorset which happened within hours of each other are believed to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters were called to land near Greenlands Farm, Studland, shortly before 1200 BST where a 20m by 10m area of gorse and peat was alight.

Crews were called again at 1530 BST to Godlingston Heath, Studland, where a 200 sq m area of gorse was alight.

Dorset Fire and Rescue said both incidents were being treated as arson.
