Poole community centre fire 'deliberate'

A community centre in Dorset has been damaged and its furniture destroyed in a fire which is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters were called to Lagland Street, Poole, at 0620 BST to reports of a bin fire.

When crews arrived the fire had spread from three wheelie bins to the window of the community centre building.

A back up crew with specialist ventilation equipment was called and the blaze was extinguished by 0811 BST.
