Police are seeking the drivers of a silver car and a white Transit van who may have seen a fatal crash in Dorset.

Richard James Turner, 35, from Brockenhurst, Hampshire, was killed when his Mini hit a tree on the A35 Roeshott Hill at 16:20 BST on 25 July.

Insp Matt Butler from Dorset Police said several witnesses have described seeing these two vehicles.

"Both of these vehicles were on Roeshott Hill in the same direction as Mr Butler, towards Lyndhurst," he said.

Police renewed their appeal for witnesses after speaking to motorists at the scene on Monday.

They want to trace the two motorists who they believe may have vital information about the crash.

An inquest into Mr Turner's death was opened and adjoined on 27 July.
