Burglars steal from Shaftesbury Oxfam charity shop

Burglars have targeted a charity shop in Dorset, escaping with cash.

Dorset Police said the Oxfam store in Shaftesbury was broken into some time between Saturday evening and Monday morning.

Officers believe thieves may have scaled a 2.4m-high (8ft) wall before forcing the rear door of the High Street store.

Police are appealing for information but would not disclose how much money was stolen in the incident.
