Boy airlifted after heart attack at Dorset holiday park

A 10-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after suffering a heart attack at a holiday park in Dorset.

South West Ambulance requested coastguard assistance in the incident at Littlesea Holiday Park, Weymouth, at 20:17 BST on Sunday.

A Solent Coastguard helicopter was diverted to the holiday park where Wyke Regis Coastguard rescue officers had prepared a landing site.

The boy was airlifted to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
