Traffic warden attacked by driver in Dorset town

A motorist who assaulted a traffic warden in a Dorset town is being sought police.

The driver of a silver BMW grabbed hold of the traffic warden in High West Street, Dorchester, before driving off.

The victim, from Portland, suffered minor injuries to her arm in the incident which occurred on 13 October, Dorset Police said.

Police have appealed to the driver and any witnesses to the incident, which occurred at 10:05 BST, to contact them.
