Cordon nine days after man, 93, found dead at Poole home

A police cordon has been set up at the Dorset home of a 93-year-old man found dead nine days ago.

The pensioner was found at his home in Laidlaw Close, Poole, on the morning of 7 December.

Police said the man died of natural causes but have now started looking into whether there were any criminal acts linked to the incident.

The property is being examined but detectives have refused to release any further details about the case.

Police have appealed to anyone with information about the man's death to come forward.

An inquest into the man's death has been opened and adjourned.
