Man's skull fractured in Bournemouth attack

A man suffered a fractured skull and jaw, lost several teeth and sustained other head injuries in an attack in Dorset, police have said.

The incident happened outside Peppino's Restaurant in Charminster Road, in the Charminster area of Bournemouth, in the early hours of Sunday.

Police said the man was "viciously attacked" at about 02:15 GMT.

He remains in hospital where his condition is described as serious, but not life-threatening.

The suspect left in the direction of Iddesleigh Road.

Officers have released CCTV images of two men who may have vital information.
