Gun fired in Poole: Man charged with firearms offences

A man has been charged with possessing a shotgun with intent to endanger life after a gun was fired at a Poole house.

The shotgun was recovered from a property in Rossmore Road, Parkstone on Friday after Dorset Police had cordoned off a bungalow. Nobody was injured.

He was also charged with possession of a shotgun when prohibited from doing so and possession of a shotgun with the barrel and stock sawn off, police said.

The 51-year-old is due to appear before Bournemouth magistrates on Monday.
