Dorchester motorists face delays after gas leak

Motorists travelling through Dorchester are being warned of delays following a gas leak.

Three-way lights have been set up in High West Street and Trinity Street while engineers find the leak.

A spokeswoman for Southern Gas Networks said: "We would advise people to allow more time for their journey and use public transport to save time."

The firm said its engineers had worked through the night, but had yet to locate the leaking gas.

The leak had not led to disruption to, or loss of, supply to homes.
