Three men have appeared in court accused of murder after human remains were found in a Dorset wood.

The men appeared before magistrates in Bournemouth charged with the murder of Geoffrey Reed, 57.

Stuart Wareham, 25, of Bournemouth, and Lee Wareham, 32, and Benjamin Walter, 21, both of no fixed address, were remanded in custody.

All three are scheduled to appear before Winchester Crown Court later this month.

Police said the remains were found in woodland at Lytchett Matravers during their investigation into the disappearance of Mr Reed.

He has not been seen since 7 June.
