Protesters camped outside Bournemouth's town hall have moved on following a week-long demonstration.

Activists from Occupy Bournemouth decided to leave the site outside the offices voluntarily on Monday night.

Bournemouth Borough Council had earlier applied for a warrant for their eviction after obtaining an immediate possession order.

Nine tents were set up on the lawns outside the town hall by demonstrators on 25 June.

One of the protesters, Andy, confirmed some of the group had been feeling unwell and numbers were dwindling.

Demonstrators from the same group were moved on from the town hall in November 2011.
