Parkstone school's roof is damaged by fire

Part of a Dorset school has been damaged by a fire in its roof.

Crews from Poole and Westbourne were called to St Joseph's Catholic School in Sancreed Road, Parkstone in Poole, shortly before 17:00 BST.

Firefighters took over an hour to put out the fire in the two-storey building.

A 6m-square area of the roof was damaged in the blaze. The cause is believed to have been accidental.
