Two die in Bournemouth as car bursts into flames

Two people died when their car hit a tree and burst into flames in Dorset.

The emergency services were called to the A348 in Ringwood Road near to the Bear Cross roundabout in Bournemouth at about 04:45 GMT.

A police spokeswoman has not revealed the gender or ages of those involved but more details are expected to be released later.

The A348 has now reopened in both directions between the Bear Cross and West Howe roundabouts.
