Christopher Martin's Dancing Ledge fall 'accidental'
A climber fell to his death from a cliff on the Dorset coast, an inquest has heard.
Staff Sgt Christopher Martin, from Cheshire, had been climbing along Dancing Ledge, near Langton Matravers, Swanage, on 23 August.
The 32-year-old, who was on leave with his girlfriend, died from his injuries in hospital.
An inquest at Dorchester Coroner's Court recorded a verdict of accidental death.
Staff Sgt Martin served as a physical training instructor with 6 Battalion the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Tidworth, Wiltshire.
Colleagues described him as "an exemplary instructor" and "an extraordinary man".
