Bournemouth man charged after four sexual assaults on buses

Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with four sexual assaults on buses in Dorset.

The 30-year-old, from Bournemouth, is alleged to have carried out the assaults on Yellow and More bus services around Bournemouth and Poole.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the assaults between 13 February and 20 March to contact them.

In each incident young women reported they were inappropriately touched by a man in his 30s.

The first incident, reported on Wednesday 13 February took place at about 16:50 GMT on a bus from Bournemouth Square to Branksome, Poole.

Police received two further reports on Wednesday 4 March. They took place on bus journeys from Bournemouth Square to Charminster at about 14:00 GMT and Bournemouth Square to Lansdowne at about 15:40 GMT.

A fourth incident happened on Wednesday 20 March at about 18:05 GMT on a journey from Ashley Road, Poole to Westbourne.
