Education officer in court on indecent images of children charges

A senior council education officer has appeared in court charged with making indecent images of children.

Robert Finlay, 53, from Barnes Crescent, Bournemouth, faces 17 counts of making indecent images between 1 January 2009 and 10 April.

He did not enter a plea at Bournemouth Magistrates' court.

Mr Finlay, a children's services programme leader for Bournemouth Borough Council, was bailed to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on 15 July.
