Search for missing Poole woman Sabrina Boulenouar called off
Police have called off a major search for a woman missing from her home after learning she may have left the country.
Sabrina Boulenouar, 33, was last seen in Poole Road, Upton, in Dorset in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Police revealed she got on a coach to Southampton and may have continued her journey towards London.
They confirmed they would be working alongside Interpol in a bid to trace Ms Boulenouar whom they described as vulnerable.
Insp Pete Little said: "Requirement for further searching has been reviewed and no further searches will be carried out.
"Sabrina is still being treated as a vulnerable missing person and we remain concerned for her welfare."
An image of Ms Boulenouar was earlier released by police, who were growing "increasingly concerned" for her welfare.
A search across 100 acres of Dorset woodland and shoreline in gale-force winds was carried out by the force.
"I understand that Sabrina has been very upset recently and her family is concerned that she may come to some harm," added Insp Little, of Bournemouth and Poole CID.
"She left without taking her house keys, car keys and her purse containing bank cards, though it is believed she has taken some cash.
"She also left her personal mobile phone behind but she did take her work phone and possibly her passport.
"It is important that Sabrina, or anyone who knows of Sabrina's whereabouts, comes forward as soon as possible."
She is described as white, 5ft 6in, with shaven hair. She was last seen in a grey woollen jumper, black leggings, and wearing black-rimmed glasses.
The search around Upton Country Park involved police, coastguard teams, and Dorset Search and Rescue.
Several helicopters were also employed in the operation which also covered Holes Bay, Lytchett Bay, and Upton Heath.
