Man killed in industrial accident at Poole paving firm

A man has died in an industrial accident at a factory in Poole, Dorset.

Ambulance crews and firefighters were called to Brett Landscaping and Building Products in Hatch Pond Road just after 20:00 BST on Wednesday.

A man in his 60s was found unconscious and bleeding from his mouth when found. He was taken to hospital but later pronounced died.

Dorset Police and the Health and Safety Executive have started a joint investigation.

In a statement, the firm said: "Our thoughts and sympathies are with his wife and family as well as with his colleagues.

"At this early stage, we are still trying to establish exactly what happened."
