Weymouth stabbing: Three arrested after man injured

Three men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in a Dorset seaside town.

A 150-yard (137m) police cordon was set up around an area of blood on a pavement in Dorchester Road, Weymouth.

The stabbed man, 29, was taken to hospital with serious injuries in the early hours. A second man, 30, is being treated for a swollen eye and jaw.

Three men, aged 28, 29 and 30 and all from Weymouth, have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Officers are guarding the scene while forensic examinations take place.
