The partner of a mother of four who has been missing for nine days has denied her murder.

Specialist officers have been scouring woodland near Corfe Castle following the disappearance of 25-year-old Samantha Henderson from the village.

On Thursday, the search was extended to the Lake Pier and South Haven Close areas of Hamworthy, Poole.

Dominic Isom, 27, pleaded not guilty at Winchester Crown Court where he was remanded until 22 May.

Ms Henderson was last seen at 15:00 GMT at Corfe Castle Primary School on Wednesday, 21 January. She was reported missing just before 08:45 the following day.

Earlier this week police released CCTV footage taken earlier on 21 January, when she was seen in The Sweet Shop in Corfe Castle wearing a pink jumper or coat and light blue jeans.

Her Peugeot 307 estate car, registration HV04 ZFM, has been seized by officers.

A trial for Mr Isom, of Halves Cottages, Corfe Castle, has been listed for July.
