Branksome pedestrian death: CCTV plea over fatal crash

A CCTV image has been released of a driver police believe may have witnessed a fatal crash in Dorset.

An 89-year-old pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a black Chrysler in Poole Road, near to Branksome railway station, on 6 February.

Officers want to trace the driver of a small blue van with ladders on the roof that was captured on CCTV in the area.

A 27-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
