Man appears in court charged with Bournemouth woman's murder

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman found dead in her flat in Bournemouth.

The body of 41-year-old Sarah Pollock was discovered in Avon Close, Springbourne, on 25 March, after she failed to turn up for work.

A post-mortem examination found she had been strangled and stabbed in the neck.

Builder Colin Dymond, 52, of Avon Close, was remanded by Bournemouth magistrates to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday.
