Jack Gudge murder: Four held over Bournemouth teen's death
Three men and a 15-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a teenager in Bournemouth.
Jack Gudge, 17, was found unconscious with serious injuries on Wimborne Road in Winton shortly before 01:00 BST.
Police said it was believed the teenager was injured during a fight close to Tesco Express.
He was taken to the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital but later died.
The suspects, a 15-year-old boy, two men aged 27 and 21 all from the Bournemouth area, and a third man have been detained on suspicion of murder.
A cordon remains in place in Wimborne Road at the junctions of Brassey Road, Victoria Park Road and Castle Road while investigators examine the scene.
Police said a post-mortem was expected to take place later.
Floral tributes have been left on the pavement outside the shop where Jack was discovered fatally injured.
Friends, family and local residents have also taken to social media to express their grief.
Posting on Facebook, Josh Gudge wrote: "You were best cousin anyone could have I will miss you so much I love you xxxx."
His former school, Oak Academy posted on Twitter: "We are shocked and deeply saddened by the devastating news about Jack. Our thoughts are with his family at this terrible time."
Jimmy Snell took to Twitter to pay tribute: "Can't believe the news, someone I grew up with taken so young, completely shocked."
Det Chf Insp Neil Devoto said: "Specially trained family liaison officers continue to update Jack's family with the developments and our thoughts are with them at this tragic and most difficult time."
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
