Driver arrested and bailed after fatal crash in Essex
A driver arrested when a motorcyclist died after a crash in Essex has been released on bail until Tuesday 21 September pending further enquiries.
A Yamaha motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta collided on Ongar Road in Abridge on Friday evening.
The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man from Chigwell, was taken to Romford's Queens Hospital where he died.
A 22-year-old man from west Essex was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The road was closed for five hours while police gathered evidence.
