Essex fatal crash driver who was 'ill at wheel' named
A 70-year-old man who died at the scene of a crash in Essex, after possibly falling ill, has been named.
David Churn of Plumberow Avenue, Hockley, was driving a Toyota Hilux which collided with a Ford Fiesta and left the road in Rochford at 1240 BST on Saturday.
The Toyota then struck a lamppost, electricity post and a tree, police said.
A police spokesman said Mr Churn may have been taken ill at the wheel.
A woman passenger in the Fiesta suffered shock.
