The name of a baby boy from Bedfordshire who died in hospital following an accident between a car and a lorry in Essex has been released.

The crash involving a Volkswagen Passat and a lorry, happened on the slip road on the northbound carriageway at Marks Tey at 1220 BST on Monday.

Ten-month-old Olivier Szulc was in the Passat with his parents and grandmother, all from Luton.

He was taken to Colchester Hospital but later died from his injuries.

His parents, both aged 28, are also at Colchester Hospital.

The 71-year-old grandmother is in a serious but stable condition in Queen's Hospital Romford.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

No arrests have been made.
