Man guilty of raping teenage girl in Southend

A 21-year-old man has been found guilty of three counts of raping and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in a block of flats in Essex.

Richard Taylor, of Blyth Avenue, Shoebury, was found guilty following a trial at Southend Crown Court.

The girl was attacked when she was forced into the block in Coleman Street, Southend, on 19 April this year.

He is due to be sentenced at the same court on 13 December.
