Man jailed for death of motorcyclist in Essex crash

A man has been jailed for killing a motorcyclist in a road crash in Essex.

Michael French, 25, from Woodford Green, north east London, was jailed for four years and four months and banned from driving for two years at Chelmsford Crown Court.

He had previously admitted causing the death by dangerous driving of Paul Capetanakis, 28, on 23 July 2009.

The crash took place on the A121 High Road at Loughton, the road on which Mr Capetanakis lived.
