Man in severed arm inquiry at Buckhurst Hill lake named

Police investigating the discovery of a severed arm in a lake in Essex have named the victim and found a second arm.

An angler found an arm in the water off Roding Lane in Buckhurst Hill at about 1450 BST on Thursday.

A 53-year-old from Loughton was arrested on Friday night on suspicion of the murder of Anthony Whitefield.

Police said they continue to search the lake for body parts and on Saturday found a a second arm.

Mr Whitefield had been missing from the Loughton area since 8 February.

Police said his family described him as "a loving bubbly person with plenty of friends".
