Pair rebailed after crash in which Essex boy died

Two men arrested after an eight-year old boy was knocked down by a car in Essex have had their bail extended.

Ryan Fleming, from Heybridge, was hit while crossing the A414 in Maldon in January and later pronounced dead at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.

The men, aged 31 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and of aggravated vehicle taking.

They have been been rebailed until 20 June.
