Four men arrested over the death of a man following a fight outside an Essex bar have been released on bail.

Police were called to the incident outside Churchill's Bar in Tylers Avenue, Southend, on 19 June.

Reece Lamude, 37, who was from the Rayleigh area, was taken to Southend General Hospital where he died.

Four men were questioned by detectives on suspicion of murder. Three were released on bail until September and one man was bailed until July.

A post-mortem examination showed that Mr Lamude suffered neck injuries but further investigations and forensic tests are continuing in an effort to establish the cause of death.
