False imprisonment charge after incident in Essex
A 35-year-old man has been charged with possessing an imitation firearm and false imprisonment following an incident in Essex.
Police were called after a man went into a premises in Orsett on 7 July and allegedly threatened three people.
Essex Police officers negotiated with the man at the Ongar Hall Farm Estate, Brentwood Road, before he was arrested.
The 35-year-old was also charged with criminal damage and theft. He was remanded in custody by magistrates.
