The teenager, who cannot be named because of his age, was arrested alongside 19-year-old Jason O'Hagan.

Mr O'Hagan, of Church Road, Clacton, faces the weapon charge and intentionally encouraging violent disorder via Facebook.

Both are due before Colchester magistrates later.

An 18-year-old woman from Clacton, arrested on Thursday, has also been charged with intentionally encouraging violent disorder via Blackberry messaging on Monday.
