Police issue efit of Southend rape suspect
Detectives investigating the rape of a 21-year-old woman in Essex have released an efit of a man they want to talk to.
The assault took place on 7 September in a car park at the rear of Kids Kingdom, Royal Artillery Way, Southend,
Police said the woman had met the man earlier and had gone with him to his car but he became violent.
Her attacker is described as being white, mid to late 30s, 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall with a shaved head.
His car had five doors and was dark grey or silver.
Det Insp Colin Norton of Southend CID said: "This young woman has had a terrible experience and we hope that someone is able to identify her attacker from the efit and come forward to assist police so that he has to face the consequences of his violent crime."
