Man killed when car hits railway bridge in Essex

A man in his 20s has died after the car he was driving hit a railway bridge in Essex.

Officers were called to Wash Road in Hutton at 22:28 GMT on Friday following reports that a car had collided with a railway bridge and overturned.

The man, from the Brentwood area, died at the scene. The road was closed overnight for police investigations.
